Hi I am Paul Muscat and I am a Qualified Integrative Psychotheraputic Counsellor and I understand the thought of therapy can be daunting & overwhelming. From my experience of working with people over the years, I have seen how quickly people relax after just a couple of sessions. It's honestly not as scary as you might think. I now specialise in men's mental health and also in neuro diversity.
I came across a type of psychotherapy, (transactional analysis) a few years ago and this changed my life.
So first hand I felt the benefits of therapy I feel is important to do a job I really believe in and an passionate about. I am now able to support others in making their own changes. I now enjoy building relationships with my clients and to support people with their own journey, which I feel privileged to be part of.
Whilst reaching out for support can be a real challenge, it takes real strength & courage to share vulnerable aspects of our self and I really understand this. Inby sharing our vulnerable parts, that's where we can grow & develop as individuals. It might sound a cliche but it really is true.
As a Qualified Integrative Therapist with a Certificate in Person Centered Counselling from York SJ University and a Diploma in Integrative Therapy & fully accredited UKCP therapist in Hull, I have worked with clients for over 7 years. I use a combination of therapeutic interventions, which I draw on in sessions. As individuals we reach our 20's, 30's, 40's, 50's+ & can unconsciously limit ourselves, it can be really empowering to realise we have other options.
I have the following qualifications:
Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling – UKCP Accredited
