Hi, I’m Paul
Psychotherapist in Hull, East Yorkshire
Starting therapy can feel daunting and overwhelming.
That’s completely understandable.
From my experience, most people begin to relax quite quickly often within just a couple of sessions.
It’s honestly not as scary as you might think.
How I Work
I work with individuals and support people to explore their challenges with compassion and care.
Everyone’s story is different, and I take time to understand yours.
My own journey into therapy began when I discovered Transactional Analysis (TA).
This approach had a powerful impact on my life and helped me make real, lasting changes.
Because of this experience, I chose to train as a psychotherapist so I could support others in doing the same.
My Approach
I am deeply passionate about my work and feel privileged to walk alongside my clients.
Therapy is a space for:
Self-understanding
Healing
Personal growth
Reaching out for support takes courage.
I truly understand how hard it can be to talk about vulnerable parts of yourself.
Growth and change often begin with feeling heard and understood.
My Experience & Training
a Level 7 Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy
a Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counsellor UKCP Accredited
a Certificate in Person-Centred Counselling (York St John University)
I have over 8 years’ experience working with clients.
I use a tailored approach, drawing on different therapeutic methods to suit your individual needs.
As we move through life, in our 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s and beyond we can unknowingly limit ourselves.
Therapy can help you notice these patterns and open up new possibilities.
